URGENT!! NEW HOMES NEEDED!!

Hi, everyone. As I sit here writing this my heart is breaking because my friend Rita is having to move into a smaller house with no yard because her current landlord is the south end of a north-bound horse. It's a long story, but because of this move she is going to have to find new homes for her three BEAUTIFUL and WONDERFUL collies.

The two females are show quality, though not show capable because they have been spade. The neutered male is just a big, goofy, loving, kind, funny sweetheart. All three are AKC REGISTERED and great dogs. They are up-to-date on their shots.

WE HAVE TO FIND THEM A NEW HOME BEFORE THE 15TH!!

If you know of anyone who might want one or all of the dogs, please email me at damama002@yahoo.com. They would have to be willing to allow us to check with their vet and/or provide references so we can be sure they are going to a good home.

Rita is in the Houston, Texas, area but would be willing to travel as far as San Antonio, Austin, Waco, Dallas, or Beaumont to bring the dogs for a visit if someone wants to meet them with the SERIOUS intention of giving them good homes.

Here are their pictures and descriptions. PLEASE HELP IF YOU CAN!

  3. Thanks so much for the comment at my site! I've taken a quick look at your blog, and I'll be back to read more (when I have time - ha ha)

You're right, I'm a lucky woman when it comes to my marriage. I married my best friend; it's not always perfect, but it works, and we're happy. Sometime ridiculously so ;-)

Again, thanks and nice to "meet" you.

  4. They are beautiful dogs! Being a dog lover, I wish I could help, but I am to far away, and since we are moving, I can't anyway.

I hope they find great homes!

  6. Hey, I was telling DH about them last night and he suggested contacting the animal shelter in the area. They may take them and put them up for adoption or they may know someone who would be interested in them. Also, I went ahead and sent an email to several in my address book, thinking maybe someone might know someone who might know someone. One of the ladies I sent it to raising german shepherds but she is in the NE Texas area. But who knows, she might know someone. Anyway, they are really beautiful.

  7. Oh dear, I hope you find homes for these lovely dogs soon. I'll keep my fingers crossed very tight!

Thanks for your visit. I was fascinated to read about dysgraphia - many thanks for that link. Stephen tells me he hates copying, although he does it quite well, because he gets pains in his arm!

Stephen's blog isn't available because he deleted it - yet again! He gets irritated and throws everything out. He has a new blog now (http://stephen-thewindowofopportunity.blogspot.com)
He filled it with photos, but he's just decided to replace some of the original text(which I printed to save it, being a hoarding type!)but it's likely not to make much sense until he gets properly organised.

I feel honoured to have you as a friend.

  9. PRAISE THE LORD AND PASS THE KIBBLE! I think we've got homes for them. She is taking the two females on a visit on Sunday. If all works out well, they may get to stay. Luke may be going to live with a disabled boy who is depressed to the point of being almost catatonic and his mother thinks he needs a gentle, loving animal to just be with him in hopes of helping him come out of the depression. She loves collies. The boy loves dogs and Luke loves to snuggle. Sounds like a match made in heaven!

Please continue to pray for the best for all concerned.

    xoxo
